DateReel was started by three friends enjoying a calming walk on the shores of Haifa discussing the banalities of life and modern challenges in the dating world. Little did they know the events set in motion by that nights excursion would lead to the formation of DateReel.

While chatting, one of the friends asked the others how they come up with their ideas for dates. Unsatisfied by their answers he asked, don’t you wish there was a place you could go, that was full of great ideas you could choose from? Think about it, there could always be something fresh and attainable to experience. We could never run out of good ideas, and never get bored of taking dates to the same places we have already been to all too often. From that day forward, the three set out on a mission to put great dates in the hands of daters everywhere and from the daughter of waves in Haifa, DateReel was born.
